The Celestial line started as two reference images on a phone: an ivory babydoll dress with gold stars and a navy sundress with tie straps. Our fashion designers looked at them and said the thing every good designer says: this is not two dresses, this is a language.
The language has three words. Soft cotton in the house palette: ivory, black, navy. Gold stars, embroidered in thread with a few real metal ones hidden among them, so the light catches unevenly, like a real sky. And one row of knurled gold studs on a structural line: a square neckline, an empire waist, a strap.
From there the line wrote itself: two babydolls, the sundress, a smocked maxi for evenings, a blouse and a skirt that work as a suit. Six pieces, approved one by one through the same review every piece of this house survives.
The lesson we keep relearning: the streetwear line and the dress line are the same brand because the hardware is the same. Change the fabric, keep the sky.
